Saturday 23rd June, 11am - 5pm
Sunday 24th June, 11am - 5pm
The Sorting Office, 37 Wells Road, Eastleigh, SO50 5FY

The Sorting Office Open Studios gives the public the opportunity to look around the former Royal Mail Sorting Centre and meet the creative residents currently working from studios in the complex.

As well as being able to meet the residents and see their work there is also the popular Makers Fair, where you’ll be able to browse and buy locally made products from a whole range of craftspeople and artists. This year the Makers Fair will be curated by the Southampton Etsy Team .

The creative residents include: textile artist An-Sofie Van Rafelghem, special effects company Creature Hut, illustrator Denise Hughes, visual artist Eve Dawson, mixed media artist Emily Whittingham, textile performance artist Harriet Riddell, historical costumier Helen McArdle, jewellery maker Joanne Tinley, embroiderer Linda Miller, graphic designer/illustrator Liza Lewis, textile artist Miesje Chafer, photographer Oliver Lane, textile designer and artist Rachel Reynolds, metalwork designer and maker Rosie Wesley and illustrator Steinar Lund.

For more information about each designer/maker and their work visit The Sorting Office website.

Based in the heart of Eastleigh Town Centre, The Sorting Office is not normally open to the public but holds two Open Studios events a year – so they are a must-attend event.
